As your Scout advances through the ranks, they will receive badges, patches and awards they can display on their shirt. Cub Scout Pack 183 in Orlando meets weekly on Monday nights at the Conway First Baptist Church in the Conway area. At each meeting, we break up into Dens for Grade-level activities and learnings. Scouts learn practical skills such as basic first aid, cooking a balanced meal and working with tools to build things. They learn about and experience out door camping, engage in outdoor sports and activities like hiking and outdoor games. Cub Scouts learn the importance of duty to God and country and what it means to be a good citizen in the community.
Scouts earn badges and advancements each month as they go through the program.

In Cub Scouts, we like to go camping! (A Lot!) Throughout the year, we register for campouts organized at Camp La-No-Che in Paisley, Florida. Campouts include large group campsites, fun activities and games through out the property, hiking trails, a swimming pool, and more! Each group campsite has showers, restrooms, and a cabin with power outlets. The pack brings cookware and a stove to share amongst the pack. Check out this Camping Check List to prepare for a campout and the Camp La-No-Che Parent Leader Guide.
