“Scouting for Food” is the nation’s largest single-day food drive. It began as a Scout’s service project in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1985. The Boy Scouts of America National Organization adopted the idea, and Scouting For Food began in all councils nationwide in 1988. One in five children live in a food insecure home. There are children who don’t know where their next meal will come from in every community. The goal is to help feed those in need in all of our communities.

On Saturday, November 14th, please set the filled bags out by your front door or garage in plain sight of the road so our scouts can pick them up.
